Job Description

This is an entry level position with primary responsibility for developing disease models supporting efficacy/proof-of-concept evaluations of pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices in development. This position also requiresconducting safety pharmacology studies in support of regulatory submissions as well as investigational pharmacology studies supporting products in the field.



Essential duties and responsibilities include:

* Serve as Study Director on preclinical studies.

* Write protocols, collect and review data, summarize and interpret data, and write reports.

* Participate in maintaining the laboratories and associated instrumentation according to applicable regulations/standard procedures.

* Take part in writing standard operating procedures and computerized system validation.

Job Requirements



* Masters of Science degree in animal physiology or pharmacology. Please do NOT apply if you have or are currently pursuing a PhD degree.

* Excellent comprehension of integrative or whole animal physiology.

* Must be able to work independently, have strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well with multi-cross-functional teams.

* Strongly prefer candidates that have experience in working with advanced physiological instrumentation (biotelemetry) and who are knowledgeable in FDA/GLP regulations.
