ATS has an immediate opening for a Tool & Die Maker II.
Responsibilities will include:
* Plan, develop, lay out, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and repair tools and dies
* Studying specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, models
* Set-up and operate all types of machine tools necessary to accomplish work assignments
* Performing simple harden, draw, and welding operations when necessary
* Help design and develop special safety equipment
* Assisting in all production departments with problems relating to the operation of a specific tool, die, jig, or fixture
* Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances, using measuring instruments, such as dial indicators, gauge blocks, thickness gauges, and micrometers
* Heat-treating tools or parts
* May perform more advanced functions as part of training and development
* High school diploma or GED
* 3-5 years of experience in a related field
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
