Deputy Program Manager
Title: Deputy Program Manager
Location: Illinois-O%27Fallon
Key Role:
Provide US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) mission air, land, and sea distribution for the DoD during peace and war. Provide USTRANSCOM a snapshot-in-time status or visibility of movement requirements and capacity for its multiple systems and programs. Achieve unity of effort, Agile Transportation for the 21st Century (AT21) capabilities to enable end-to-end (E2E) Joint distribution operations and ensure the theaters can operate as part of an integrated enterprise. Provide Deputy Program Management (DPM) support to AT21 business process management (BPM) continuous process improvement (CPI) efforts with specific emphasis on centralized task management of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management for the AT21 task order. This position is located in O'Fallon, IL.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with managing DoD or similar projects, including financial management
-2 years of experience in working with project implementation as a key contributor for integration and processes
-Experience with cost-benefit analysis, scheduling management, and monitoring-reporting compliance issues
-Experience with developing ad-hoc project control documents, including scope, communications, and management plans
-Experience with government consulting, managing client relationships, and liaising for functional project controls
-Experience with managing performance-measured teams and briefing senior level DoD officials
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with developing baseline schedules, providing status for schedules, and conducting risk analysis of schedule dates and earned value management assessments
-Experience with software tools, including Primavera P3, Microsoft Project, OpenPlan, Cobra, MPM, or similar tools
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; MBA degree a plus
-PMP Certification preferred
