External Job Description : Primary Purpose:
Responsible for and supervises delivery of legal services with respect to human resources and labor relations matters, and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, focusing on the quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of legal services delivered. Also responsible for supervision of Corporation's ethics program.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the Corporation's ethics program, including training and investigation and resolution of incidents reported.
* Responsible for human resources and labor relations support company-wide.
* Support resolution of EEOC, state and local agency claims and charges.
* Counsel, represent and advise on employment issues involving recruitment, hiring, promotions, demotions, layoffs, terminations, discipline, sexual harassment, worker's compensation, benefits, severance, releases, non-compete agreements, drug testing, affirmative action, unions and immigration.
* Counsel, represent and advise on ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, ERISA, OFCCP and WARN Act compliance.
Job Requirements: Job Specifications:
* JD required, with a minimum of 7 years of legal experience focused on litigation and compliance matters with a national law firm and/or corporate law department.
* Clear, concise and effective communication skills.
* Initiative, integrity, resilience.
* Team player.
* Outstanding academic record.
* License to practice law in the United States and accepted to the applicable state bar.
