Specific accountabilities of this position include:
- Providing secretarial assistance to the staff in the Portfolio Management, Alternatives Middle Office and Derivatives Groups as needed. (This includes travel, copying, filing, distributing mail, ordering supplies, preparing T&E reports, arranging meetings with internal employees and outside visitors, etc.)
- Budget planning, coordination and monthly expense variance analysis (This includes reviewing, coding and preparing invoices (APAY), check req's, and other expense documents for approval.
- Assisting with the preparation of division presentations.
- Coordinating and completing special projects, requests for information, etc.
- Reviewing monthly budgets for exception reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification
Key skills required for this position are:
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and requirements.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma
- CPS/CAP, a plus
