Performs established cleaning procedures and operates equipment necessary to provide a safe, attractive and sanitary environment for patient s visitors and employees within the hospital.
Minimum Qualifications:Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
Essential Physical Requirements:
* Work is medium in nature requiring lifting of trash bags and other objects weighing 50 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 pounds maximum.
* Ability to be stationary up to 8 hours per day.
* Ability to be mobile up to 8 hours per day.
* Ability to frequently perform tasks such as pushing and pulling (i.e. 50 pounds car, mop buckets, vacuums, etc.)
* Ability to frequently bend, stoop, bend, climb, twist and squat.
* All employees with this job classification may have exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious material.
Additional Information
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
