Job Description:
Involves a combination of creating enticing and effective copy, editing and proofing content across all media including online, print and video that includes marketing collateral (brochures or datasheets), website content, solutions/services videos, and sales/email copy. Must have the ability to adapt writing style based on end-user audience and type of material being developed. Copy writer will work closely with field marketing team to provide materials to support demand generation activities and with the marketing production team to produce final document output. Will also collaborate with product marketing, product management, technical, professional and education services teams to gain an understanding of the solutions capabilities and features and deliver appropriate materials to support services/solution launches and associated marketing campaigns. Job requires excellent oral and written communication skills, which clearly states specific services/solutions offerings while adhering to overall brand messaging and positioning.
Specific tasks:
* Create, edit, and maintain copy in a wide range of promotional and sales writing styles for current and future services/solutions offerings
* Write, edit, produce, and maintain online (internet/web-based) content that incorporates optimized content for SEO
* Study products or services to determine the main selling features to help create competitive edge
* Support execution of creative online/web campaigns to appropriately reach targeted customers, prospects, channel partners and consultants, help strengthen our brand, and support business development efforts
* Support the creation of online newsletters, webinars, videos, and blogs/articles
* Build content for distribution over social media networks
* Collaborate with marketing to create copy for online pages that compels/directs traffic
* Brand strategy and implementation support experience preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude
* Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
* Work requires a BA/BS in Journalism, English, Technical Communications or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
* Understanding of the unified communications or contact center industry preferable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
* Dependable and able to work independently
* Able to multi-task, and demonstrate effective time management skills
* High comfort level working with and around all organizational levels and customers
* Ability to work as a team player and demonstrate personal initiative to complete the work of the team as a whole.
* Must be highly reliable and capable of meeting work schedule consistently.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
