IT PORTFOLIO MANAGER - Consultant Senior-Level Opportunity
As an IT Portfolio Manager - Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of projects in support of Distribution, Marketing & Enterprise Applications - Sales and Customer Service Roadmap.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing/maintaining a broad understanding of the business with an in-depth understanding of technology opportunities/issues that impact the business.
- Assists technology and client business leaders in developing, executing and communicating the mission and goals for the portfolio, program or project.
- Works with senior leaders, delivery leads, project and program managers to translate portfolio decision to appropriate plans for and execution of the projects.
- Recommending resource balancing and implementation plans across the all projects, programs and opportunities.
- Monitors and forecasts overall resource supply and utilization and resource constraints.
- Collaborating with business and technology groups to develop portfolio/program health reports and implement improvements.
- Collaborates with technology finance partners on budget planning and reconciliation.
- Leading governance activities for IT and business client management.
- Partnering with the business to establish project prioritization criteria and monitoring portfolio alignment with the business strategy.
- Assessing project tracking activities and reviewing the portfolio/project pipeline with business and technology clients.
- Maintaining the overall issues log, portfolio/program progress reporting, and collaborating with technology managers to resolve complex issues/problems.
- Partnering with business client leaders to develop/track portfolio ROI and publish ROI project/program summaries.
- Reviews reports and communications representing portfolio information prior to sharing with the business client.
- Leading efforts to implement new and/or revised portfolio/program management best practices.
