As a Retirement Sales Consultant you will support business growth and profitability by developing new sales opportunities for retirement plan products by building effective working relationships with producers. We are growing and are looking for individuals that want to capitalize on our success and grow with us. Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

. Establishing effective and long term working relationships with producers, retirement plan sponsors and home office personnel through consistent contact, professional negotiation, responsive communication, problem resolution and meeting customer expectations.

. Develop new sources of business, promote additional products and demonstrate product information and knowledge of competition in order to increase sales.

. Support client retention by partnering with the client services team to provide consistent marketing and customer service to existing clients.



Qualifications:

To succeed in this exciting role you will need:

. Three to five years demonstrated sales and service experience in the retirement plans field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

. Professional certification required: Life and Health license, FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses. ASPPA designation is a plus.

. Advanced knowledge of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, Money Purchase plans, Profit Sharing plans, Defined Benefit plans; knowledge of non-qualified deferred compensation plans, as experience with working with Third Party Administrators a plus; investments, Department of Labor regulations, ERISA, IRS codes pertaining to retirement plans, compliance issues, and legislative acts.

. Able to travel within the local market.
