Job Responsibilities:

General Summary:

Manages mix of Local Channel Manager(s) and Sales Manager(s) focused on driving revenue, building and maintaining relationships, and achieving an established Market quota.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



? Manage, coach and develop Local Channel Managers to recruit, build, develop and retain an Indirect team (partners/subs) capable of delivering solid, bookable revenues with XO?s product portfolio in order to meet/exceed all plan objectives associated with the indirect model

? Must be able to work well with LCM, PCM and AD assigned to support their territory in order to develop an Indirect strategy for the marketplace as well as maximizing all recruiting efforts associated with the Indirect model.

? Create a results-driven, customer focused/solutions oriented environment which holds every team member accountable for delivering individual and organizational results.

? Drive business opportunities up market by focusing on key products and vertical segmentation (High Speed DIA, Metro/Long Haul Ethernet, Collocation)

? Ensure Sales Teams achieve revenue and P&L targets by shaping structure prospecting tactics, strategies and Market territory coverage ? creating an activity based sales culture.

? Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution.

? Create and maintaining accurate account plans and reviews with senior level XO management

? Managing administration: Ensure the following processes are being completed: Project Plans, Business Cases, ICBs to certain levels, etc.

? Proven ability to attract, develop and lead a high performance sales team

? Proven ability driving/achieving aggressive sales plan objectives

? Proven ability to set high but reachable goals and objectives, communicate those goals effectively and direct and motivate an organization to successful goal attainment

? Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate and present ideas that establish executive credibility while building positive professional relationships

? Strong customer orientation

? Expert Account Management skills

? Expert knowledge and experience in Senior Account Management, Time Management, Business Case & Financial Analysis

? Advanced knowledge, understanding, and experience in MPLS, IVR, Data, ISP, Voice, and hosting and managed services

? Proficient in contract negotiations

? Possess excellent verbal communication and presentation skills up through Large Accounts

? Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present in both small and large group settings. Must have a polished, professional presentation

Minimum Qualifications:

? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Sales Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience

? Relevant Work Experience:

? 5+ years relevant results-oriented sales management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities within the telecommunications industry

? 1+ yr relevant experience working in the Indirect space in a leadership role
