Job Description
Will have up to 4 direct reports(salaried and one is supv of several hourly employees) and take on responsiible for master scheduling.
Supervises the flow of materials, equipment, goods, supplies, etc., from suppliers. Reviews and plans requirements for purchasing complex materials. Participates in negotiations of contracts for goods, services, suppliers, equipment related to materials, transportation and storage; monitors contractual obligations for compliance. Participates in the evaluation of vendor performance. Monitors complex product activities so that project objectives are met in accordance with schedules. Coordinates and controls the materials planning function Duties also include master scheduler.
Requirements:
Degree in Operations or Business Management
Experience with machine tool, heavy machining, industrial engineering.
and manufacturing
Inventory and logistics management within SAP is required, emphasis on Logistics and Production Planning; specifically the areas of Capacity Planning, Work Centers, PRT's, Routings, and Shop Floor Control.
Familiarity with MTO+E product flow within SAP required
Managerial/supervisory exp 3 -5 years (prefer hourly and/or salaried reports)
