The Logistics and Engineering Solutions Business Unit (LESBU) provides professional technical services and solutions in the core business areas of logistics services, logistics information technology, systems/sustaining engineering, product support, and transportation engineering and consulting. The LESBU is seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple Senior Maintenance Manager positions at Rock Island, IL.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Maintenance Managers provide guidance on the preparation of integrated logistics plans, policies and procedures for maintenance support to Army modularity and the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) process. They conduct analysis of maintenance capabilities and requirements and make appropriate recommendations to AMC, AFSB/LSE and DMC staffs. They design reports, collect and consolidate data, and prepare maintenance reports for the DMC. They analyze and recommend optimal positioning of maintenance assets to support readiness and RESET, and provide technical data. Senior Maintenance Managers perform analysis to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements. They use existing readiness monitoring capabilities and collection of logistics intelligence from multiple logistics databases to predict, manage and resolve materiel readiness issues. They document results of the analysis in report format. They help articulate logistics issues for presentation to the national level. Senior Maintenance Managers develop systems maintenance concepts and plans and life-cycle supply requirements and processes to meet supply requirements. They perform cost analysis associated with systems logistics support and develop and review systems acquisition projects' operating plans and procedures to ensure logistics support considerations are included. Senior Maintenance Managers perform technical training, configuration management, and quality assurance. They provide oversight and guidance to junior logistics contracted personnel. They prepare research documents as required. The Senior Maintenance Manager requires in-depth knowledge and experience with SAMS, SAMS-E, SAMS for Installations/TDAs (IDTA), AEPS, LIW (to include ILAP, (EDCB, LID-B, FEDLOG, RPA) and WEBVLIPS. Secret security clearance is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:

Minimum of 12 or more years of experience providing logistics support for major systems or conducting logistics analyses.
