Job Summary
Under limited supervision, oversees the planning, creation, editing, and implementation of project-specific public relations strategies for external audiences. Produces deliverables, including news releases, news pitches, byline articles, planning documents and other supporting materials, ensuring all messages follow strategy and brand. Works with business partners, as needed, for deliverable public relations goals and develops a good working knowledge of BU/SSU products and services. Assists with coordination of company events, as needed.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with 5 more years of public relations and/or corporate communications experience.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Ability to be collaborative and work effectively within a team structure
2. Strong written and verbal communications skills
