HR Generalist
Title: HR Generalist
Location: Illinois-O%27Fallon
Key Role:
Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned clients on HR strategy, programs, and issues in the areas of assessment, performance management, and HR policy management within Booz Allen. Provide HR support in the areas of career management, employee relations and retention, employee motivation, organizational policies, and compensation and benefits administration. Partner and integrate service delivery with HR counterparts to ensure consistency with philosophies and alignment with business goals. Provide career management guidance and one-on-one counseling with writing assessments, mentoring, career discussions, professional development plans, and salary management. Provide leadership and education on the firm's core values, ethics and compliance, and overall HR policies. Educate and counsel managers on employee relations issues to ensure fair treatment of staff and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Advise managers on compensation decisions through job analysis and determination of internal equity and external competitiveness. This position is located in O'Fallon, IL.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience within HR
-Experience with a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, policies, and career management
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with creating and delivering presentations
-Experience with project management
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
-Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful, organized, and work in a multi-functional role
-Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization
-Possession of excellent collaboration and client-handling skills
-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-BA or BS degree in Human Resource or equivalent level of experience preferred
