Responsibilities:

Seeking a skilled professional to perform various tasks within the office such as basic maintenance/repair and office moves. Additional responsibilities include reporting to the Office of the Building malfunctions and/or problems that are the responsibility of building engineers or custodians; moving files and boxes as requested; working closely with the Office Services Manager and/or Supervisor on special projects (i.e. construction in the office, office moves, furniture deliveries, etc.); hanging pictures/dry erase boards/bulletin boards; delivering trash containers; unlocking offices for visitors and attorneys; cleaning storage rooms and closets; moving furniture; maintaining shred containers; arranging conference room tables and chairs for various meetings and events; and performing other related duties as required.



Qualifications:

Ability to push/pull or lift boxes weighing at least 30 pounds.

* Ability to push/pull/turn various types of carts with loads of up to 300 pounds.

* Ability to exert moderate to high physical effort.

* Ability to work sitting or standing for prolonged or continuous periods of time; frequently reaching with higher mobility from floor to waist level; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.

* Ability to crouch, crawl, kneel, climb and balance.

* Manual dexterity and coordination required to operate hand/power tools and equipment.

* Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions.

* Logic, attention to detail, alertness, and a sense of urgency.

* Ability to consistently demonstrate good follow-up, accuracy, record-keeping and quantitative skills.

* Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in a courteous and professional manner.

* Ability to work with others and foster an environment of team work.

* Fluency in English required to effectively understand and communicate instructions, schedules, and assignments.

* The ability to perform all duties with minimal supervision.

* Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

* General knowledge and experience using hand tools is required.

* Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook is preferred.
