Entry Level Auditor - (Job Number: 0008L7)

Entry Level Internal Auditor:
Allstate Corporation (NYSE: ALL)...seeks individuals for entry level Internal Auditor positions. Initially upon employment, individuals will begin an exciting, fast-paced developmental program consisting of rotations among the various Internal Audit teams (Property/Casualty, Life, Investments, Finance, IT, and Accounting) and an opportunity to work with our external auditors. During this period, individuals will have an opportunity to build a strong understanding of the various areas of the organization as they conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits.
Specifically, individuals will be responsible for:
  1. Completing individual audits including planning, process analysis, control testing, and documentation of work performed.
  2. Communicating with management on an ongoing basis through written reports and verbal presentations.
  3. Consulting with Allstate's internal and external business partners on internal control matters, new initiatives, and other projects.
  4. Supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  5. Developing computer assisted audit techniques.
  6. Taking an active role in developing skills which will further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Internal Audit, we offer individualized training, and extensive support in the areas of career pathing, continuing education, and the attainment of professional certifications. This position offers exposure to management at all levels.

Qualification

Experience:
  1. Internship within Auditing or an Accounting related field a plus.
  2. 0- 2 years experience within any of the following areas: Accounting, Banking, Financial Services, Finance, Insurance, or Internal Audit may be beneficial.
Required skills include:
  1. Ability to work independently as well as in a strong team environment.
  2. Intermediate project management skills.
  3. Basic understanding of audit theory and application.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Understanding of fundamental IT concepts.
  6. Proficiency in business-related computing applications (e.g., Microsoft Office applications).
  7. Strong relationship building skills.
