Description
Software Engineer Applications Integration

The Application Integration Engineer will work with Product Marketing, software development, and external parties to develop integrations between Panduit's Intelligent Infrastructure Management System and other software applications. The Application Integration Engineer will develop project requirements and specifications, and manage those requirements end to end through design and customer acceptance testing. Typical 3rdparty integrations will be with IBM Tivoli, BMC Remedy, HP OpenView and other similar data center suites (Computer Associates, Cisco and VMWare).
What You ll Need:
* Specify and code integration interfaces, and allocate requirements between Panduit's and external systems. Define project standards for documentation.
* Establish integration processes and standards. Prioritize and plan project milestones. Communicate task status, proactively manage risk. Direct team members during the implementation of integration. Develop test plans and direct team members during test plan execution.
* Work with partner companies to define, implement, accept, and support custom system integrations.
Plus:
* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* Minimum 5 years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
* Ability to quickly learn third-party products and produce highly scalable integration solutions.
* Software Development experience in using Object Oriented programming languages preferably Java/JavaEE
* Strong experience in building Web Services.
* Expert-level knowledge of software engineering methodologies and lifecycle models.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Project experience in integrating with IBM Tivoli, HP OpenView, or similar products is desired.
