Nursing Department Director
Title: Nursing Department Director
Location: IL-Red Bud (St. Louis region)
The Nursing Director is the leader for specified or assigned unit. Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place on their assigned unit. Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff. twenty-four hour accountability for assigned unit.
Nursing unit includes med-surg, telemetry and swing bed. 25 bed critical access hospital.
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN, Master's degree in nursing preferred) ; IL RN license
* 4-6 years clinical experience in specified unit to be directed, preferred
* Experience in Quality Improvement
* Self-directed
* Must possess excellent interpersonal, time-management, and problem solving skills
