Responsibilities:

Repair, inspect, maintain, and diagnose various types of machinery in an effective way so as to eliminate repetitive repairs and to ensure the equipment's ability to produce quality bottles in a safe manner at the proper production speed.

Provide important mechanical and electrical maintenance services to an industry leading company!

Assist in neck tooling changes and mold changes.

Be honest in all you do and make the best repairs possible to allow machines to optimally perform and ensure the safety of other employees.

Persevere to make sure every repair you perform is in line with the standard of excellence set at CCC.

Have a Safety Conscious Attitude!

Comply with OSHA standards as well as company policies and procedures as they related to safety and hygiene standards.

Always perform the lock out/tag out procedure whenever shutting down and restarting machinery.



Qualifications:

Requirements



* Working knowledge of 480V motor controls and circuitry, AC frequency drive controls, Servo applications and controls

Thorough understanding of programmable limit switches, oven and temperature controllers, main power switchgear and operator machine controls

Interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics

Interpret, read, and understand machine designs

Train others on troubleshooting of equipment

Assist in maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance routines, setup procedures, changeovers and overhauls.

Understand and apply NEC and OHSA electrical safety standards along with LO/TO practices and train others on requirements.

Demonstrated electrical aptitude



Preferred Skills/Attributes

Previous work in the manufacturing environment.

Trade school, technical school training, or AS degree is preferred.

Blow molding maintenance experience preferred.

Formal education in electrical, pneumatics, robotics, hydraulic and mechanical required

*

5 years of industrial electrician experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
