Title: *Quality Management Review Coordinator
Location: IL-Red Bud (St. Louis region)
Performs review of medical records/other information for Medical Staff/hospital departments. Abstracts and aggregates data using quality tools and statistical methods as appropriate. Enters data into authorized databases in a timely manner. Prepares reports and makes presentations to various committees/audiences as requested or assigned. Attends Medical Staff departmental and committee meetings as the QMS staff representative as assigned. Assists in preparing agendas and taking minutes for various meetings.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED:
BSN preferred. CPHQ certification preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED:
RN licensed in Illinois with a minimum of 3-5 years acute care experience required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) required. We will consider licensure in another medical related field. Data management skills, including quality tools and statistical methods, required. Computer skills including word processing, graphics and data base programs required.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
3-5 years quality/utilization management/risk management experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations required.
