Location: IL-Waukegan (Chicago region)
The Director of New Family Center provides for the overall management of the OB, labor & delivery, maternal baby, and NICU units. Responsibilities include patient satisfaction, continuously improving quality and clinical performance, maintaining compliance with all federal/state regulations, company policies, and Joint Commission standards, hiring and developing excellent clinical personnel, maintaining positive physician relations, achieving staff productivity goals, and achieving financial/budget results.
Successful applicants will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Nursing is preferred, a minimum of 5 years of OB, labor/delivery, maternal baby experience, and a minimum of 3 years of hospital nursing management experience with a demonstrated record of accomplishments. Applicants should possess advanced knowledge of nursing practices, Joint Commission standards, and healthcare administration. Applicants should also possess advanced communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a strong ability to educate and motivate clinical personnel.
