Honeywell Life Safety, a division of Honeywell International, is an industry leader in providing cutting edge solutions in intelligent sensing, fire and smoke detection, gas detection products and home patient telemonitoring. We have an immediate opening with our credit team in St. Charles, Illinois, for a Credit Supervisor.



This position is responsible for the daily leadership of the North America business unit accounts receivable departments within the Honeywell Automation & Control Solutions (ACS) - Life Safety division.



- The Credit Supervisor will have supervisory responsibility for a staff of four professional credit employees.

- Provides education to business unit on credit, financing, and treasury-related matters.

- Achieves cash flow and DSO goals through proactive management of customer receivable balances.

- Coordinates major credit decisions with Credit Director and SBU management teams, sales & marketing, contracts, and field service representatives.

- Manages delinquent customer receivables, negotiates special customer payment plans and participates in the development of creative financing packages.

- Champions and leads Six Sigma efforts to streamline existing work flow processes.

- Drives digitization initiatives within the organization to eliminate manual processes.

- Monitors cash flow performance by tracking appropriate metrics such as customer terms, past due dollars, unapplied cash and credit disputes, etc.

- Ensures that a professional and positive relationship exists with customers.

- Travel required (less than 20%).

- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.

- Eight years of directly related experience in credit and collections.

- Five years experience in a responsible leadership position.

- Good knowledge of accounting principles.

- Well developed skills to lead and manage large, complex financial and business projects.

- Comprehensive financial analysis skills that enable the development of cash collection forecasts, receivable analysis, and customer credit risk evaluations.

- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills required.
