As a Play Partner at Hamill Family Play Zoo, you will use your creative skills and abilities in the facilitation of play with children, aged birth-10, including holding live animals, in both indoor and outdoor settings. You will demonstrate your prior experience in working with children and genuine interest in nature and animals while you encourage learning and having fun in the make-believe Veterinary Hospital, looking for animal tracks outside in the snow, or while holding the hissing cockroach teaching children about the animal's natural history. Job Description: Financial Coordinator Duties 1 Presents fees at the end of all appointments at the desk check out station. Discusses financial options before treatments of all fees over $300. Enforces that all fees under $600 be paid at time of service using credit cards, cash or checks. All fees over $600 will be offered creative financing through a Financial Partner such as Care Credit or DFP. These options should be offered to all treatments over $600 in a very enthusiastic manner letting patients know it is a true benefit to them, not another job for the FC to take on! 2 Collects and posts payments at the desk, ALWAYS collecting the insurance co-pays at time of treatment to eliminate so many statements. 3 Processes insurance daily (at the desk check out station). Posts all mailed payments in between checking out patients. 4 Totals the day sheets each day turning over to another staff member for verification and to create the daily deposit which they both sign off on as correct before turning over to the doctor. Someone who has not done the posting more easily finds errors. Double verification is a sound business principal for safeguarding office assets. 5 Four hours per month, (two hours twice per week), the Financial Coordinator is covered by the Scheduling Coordinator to go into the back office to work on past due accounts (25% of the alphabet each week). The FC also contacts patients who need to do their own insurance inquiries giving them the toll-free number of their insurance company and faxing (if necessary) their EOB so they can make the call. The office policy for accepting assignment of insurance should be 60 days max. The patients who have past due insurance balances should be contacted at 40-45 days so they have time to do their insurance inquiry before the total is placed on their signature on file credit card auto debit on the 61st day after treatment. WE CURRENTLY HAVE SEVERAL LIVE-IN POSITIONS AVAILABLE!! At Home Instead Senior Care, we provide in-home, non-medical care & help ensure the quality of life for the Elderly & Disabled. Duties could include, but are not limited to: companionship, light house cleaning, meal planning/preparation, medication reminders, transportation (appointments/errands), engaging clients in activities (both inside & outside the home), and some personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility, transfers, etc). We provide service to our Elderly & Disabled clients in northside Chicago neighborhoods (Andersonville, Edgewater, Lincoln Square, Ravenswood & Rogers Park) and southside Chicago neighborhoods (mostly around the Midway area). Live-In's are 24-hour shifts; 1-5 consecutive days in the clients home. The benefits of Live-In's are: decreased back and forth travel, downtime, meals included, and the ability to earn a weeks pay in just a few days. ***WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING A $100 LIVE-IN SIGN-ON BONUS FOR ANYONE HIRED IN THE MONTH OF MAY. BONUS WILL BE PAID OUT AFTER 10 DAYS WORKED. **** We also offer other flexible schedules: Part-time with the potential for Full-time, Hourly (day, evening, overnight, weekends). No experience, certification or training is needed but is always welcomed & appreciated!
